I would like to thank the many customers we have had the privilege of serving over the years. Without your confidence and trust in us we would not be able to express our love of cabinet making and support our family through the years. Thank you.

Scott and Kay are an excellent team. Our entire downstairs has been transformed because of the beautiful piece that Scott created and Kay helped design. When we met with Kay, we were not sure on some areas of design that we had come up with. Kay’s input into how our built-ins would look best was instrumental to us. We went with all of her design ideas and the end product was exceptional. There is no doubt in our minds that Scott is a master craftsman. I thought the end product would look like it was added but, we have had several friends over since our built-ins were installed, and each and every one said they look as if they were built with our home. The design and craftsmanship far exceeded our expectations. Three weeks later and my wife and I and even our 7 year old, keep saying how wonderful our built-ins are. I only regret that we don’t have a second family room for Kay and Scott to work their talents in. After seeing the finished work, our Pastor has already lined them up for work on a project for his home. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Scott and Kay through this stress free process and have since made new friends
Thank you for a wonderful work of craftsmanship and valued friendship, Scott and Kay.
Blessings,

Scott and Kay,
Thank-you for turning our 1980s Lochmere kitchen into a showplace! Refacing was the right way to go. The existing cabinets were solid in construction with real wood framing but the facing and the hardware were just dated. Given that granite countertops were already put in place by previous owners of the house, replacing the cabinets seemed impractical and unneccesary. Thanks for suggesting the refacing. The kitchen looks brand new!! Upgrading the kitchen with new cabinets doors and drawers, different type of wood, different stain and soft-close drawers and new european door hardware really brought the kitchen look into current millenium.
Craftsmenship of the work was outstanding. Scott you really know your stuff and it was a pleasure engaging with both of you on a regular basis.
Anyone who lives in Lochmere or MacGregor or other neighborhoods built in the same era probably has a similar problem as we did. Here is the solution.
Sincerely,
Mick and Mary Ann Meagher
Dear Scott and Kay,
We wanted to let you know that we could not be more pleased with our built-in media cabinetry! It is exactly what we were hoping for. The beauty and quality of the finished product speaks for itself, adding so much character and architectural interest (not to mention functionality) to our family room. Working with you both was an absolute delight. Your suggestions and detailed computer renderings (which you graciously adjusted several times at our request) helped us arrive at the perfect dimensions and design for our room. It is obvious that you take great pride in your work, and really care about the people you work with. Thank you so much, and please add us to your list of happy customers!

Hi Scott and Kay,
Thanksgiving is now over and our guests have all left. Before leaving for DC, Calvin was able to use his camera to take a few pictures of the library project. Attached is one of the pictures he took that might be suitable for your web-site. Let me know how it looks on your computer monitor. He was in a hurry to leave and has promised to convert a few other pictures from Raw to JPG format and send them to us. Which we will be more than happy to send when we receive them.
There is no question that the library project was the most admired and talked about new feature in our home among our guests who had assembled for Thanksgiving holiday. The woodwork is truly exceptional. Not only is it beautiful but it also adds new functionality to the room. It has literally changed how this room will be used for now on. Scott and Kay, you were wonderfully pleasant to work with. Although we only saw how you worked as a team during the last two days of installation, we know that you must have spent long hours in planning and preparing literally hundreds of pieces that were eventually assembled on-site. You made sure that the room was left intact without a trace of even a scratch on the adjutant walls and floor. Scott was able to incorporate the crown- and chair-moldings that has been removed earlier into the design so that library looks as if it has always been there. I for one also appreciated the advice on Electrical and Ethernet wiring which Scott so graciously shared with me. We have worked with many contractors in the past on various projects around the house, however, we must submit that Scott and Kay have been the best to work with. Woodworking skills aside, their passion for quality shows throughout each element of the project. They chose quality materials, hardware and finishes. Their planning was precise and flawless. The final assembly went absolutely smoothly. We are very pleased with the result.

When I was looking to have my cabinets refaced, I was initially put off by the “custom” part of the name thinking that might be more than I wanted to spend. After consulting with a larger, less personal, firm, I discovered that this was not the case. Scott’s ability to match a stain color in another piece of furniture in our house was amazing; the “factory” firm could not deliver. What I got by working with Scott and Kay was a beautiful job, better than I imagined. Scott puts himself into the work, making each kitchen unique and special. We trusted Scott and Kay’s experience and advice, and in fact we made changes to the job with their help that made the final result much better than we had planned ourselves. In addition to the refacing, Scott built an additional custom cabinet for our small kitchen that is a definite conversation piece.
Scott and Kay are professional, efficient, and nice people all around. My family and I enjoyed having them at the house, which was the nicest bonus attached to the excellent work.
In all the excitement of learning our way around our new kitchen, I just wanted to drop you this note to tell you just how pleased we are with your work. Your idea of large pull out drawers on soft guides was pure genius. No bending over to find stuff on the bottom cabinets anymore!
We recently had a mini “Open House/Dinner Party” to break in the new kitchen and gave out all the business cards you left. Could we have some more? Our friends the (name removed for privacy) want you to design their kitchen for their home being remodeled inside the Beltline.
Thanks again for your beautiful craftsmanship. The quality of your efforts has made a kitchen to die for. Samantha may never want to sell this house unless we can get you to build us another kitchen somewhere else. Can you call me to talk about that master closet project I mentioned to you?
We’ll be glad to be included on your list of satisfied customers and can tour folks any evening you’d like to schedule folks to come by.

Kay and Scott
Thanks for doing an outstanding job building and installing the custom bookcases In our “library”. They are everything we hoped they’d be . . . and more.
Scott’s attention to detail is amazing:
• Fitting the unit into the space perfectly, adjusting for the one uneven wall.
• Matching the stain color to the existing hardwood floor
• Suggesting drawers with dividers for CD storage
• Cutting the shelves trim to integrate with irregular baseboard trim
And Kay’s constant communication assured that the project went smoothly; on-time and on budget. We felt like we were dealing with an old friend instead of a new contractor. The proposal drawings and stain samples assured that there would be no surprises; very professional.
Please feel free to use us as a reference.
Sincerely, Mark Kelly
Dear Scott and Kay,
Thank you so much for the AWESOME window seat. IT looks like it came with the house. I can hardly wait to get my cushion made for it and get it all setup.
It was a pleasure doing business with you and Kay. You’re both so easy to be around. It feels like I have known you for years! I appreciate your quality work, your professionalism and your valuable advice and suggestions. I’m certain we will be working together on more projects in the future.
Until next time,
Pam

Hey Scott and Kay,
We have greatly enjoyed working with you on our kitchen, and we are very grateful to Shawn for introducing us.
I’ve written a little testimonial for you as follows:
The best decision we made in our recent kitchen remodeling was to select Scott and Kay Alexander to do our custom cabinetry. Scott and Kay work as a husband/wife team and they quickly understood our style and taste, enabling them to suggest design options and little details that have greatly enhanced the functionality as well as the look and feel of the kitchen.
Most importantly, Scott is a master craftsman, and the quality of his work has far exceeded our expectations. His attention to fine detail has resulted in a finish and precision in our cabinetry that we had not seen before, and after several months I still marvel at it every time I enter our kitchen. Scott and Kay do outstanding work and I recommend them most highly.
Thank you so much for everything.
